         The Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) is a non-profit          organization incorporated in August 2004, classified as a public charity exempt from
         federal income tax under IRS section 501(c) (3), and registered with the New Jersey          Directory of Charities (#CH2720800). You can look up our most current Form 990
         (federal tax return) by clicking on the link to the left of this page. LALDEF does not
         receive any government funding and relies exclusively on private donations.

         If you make a contribution to LADEF you would be able to deduct the full amount
         from your federal income taxes, as provided by law. To send in a contribution,
         please mail in a check, payable to LALDEF, to PO Box 80, Princeton NJ 08542.
         A letter acknowledging your donation will be sent to you.
